So I was denied a Barclays rewards card last week. Called this morning for a recon, i was approved but he only matched my FP card highest limit which is $500. I receieved a Chase Freedom $2300CL and Capital One Cash Rewards $2000CL in the last week so they arent showing on my credit report. Well I can finally get rid of all my subprime cards. He said to show a nice payment history for about 6 months and call back and they will definitely bump it up.
Question: I understand that people get Barclays Cards CL decreased when they find they have found new credit. Well in this instance between now and 6 months Both of my chase freedom and CO CR will have hit my report and Ill also have a NFCU CC at the beginning of August. Will they be hesitant to increase my CL because of new credit?
Also, I have a $1300 CL total for both my FP cards and my orchard card. Anyone think it would work for me to call back and recon the recon and ask for at least $1300 to match those cards so I can close them? Even though I have the other they arent on my CR.

There is not a 100% guaruntee that they will give you an auto CLI, or a regular CLI in the 6 months, because if you call and request one then it will be a hard pull so they can see your current report.
No go on the recon on the recon...lol.. stressed he needs payment history on their card
