Best Buy MasterCard.. Now Capital One... Any different "service" Type things?

My $300 Gold No AF "Reward Zone MasterCard" went to $600 at some point, then CLD to $305, put back by underwriting, followed by the very next month getting CLD again to $305 by computer, and underwriting said I didn't qualify for any thing above that (which boiled my blood to the core, full well knowing what kind of credit they accept... I did close for a day or two but then decided I should no cut off my nose to spite my face I think is what my dad always said... It has no annual fee and at that point people were updating daily on here about account officially moved to Capital One... So I opened it back up and it moved to Cap1 a month or so ago...

So now, has anyione talked to Capital One, is it the same as the rebuider cards for Cap1, you got it, you get 1 increase and probably nothing again for life!

Just leave it, email, call... any of it worth it? I am not willing to take a 3 HP for a no CLI or a stupid $100 increase so I have not clicked that LUV button online!

Re: Best Buy MasterCard.. Now Capital One... Any different "service" Type things?

As of today, no changes to any former HSBC products. All of the accounts are managed by Capital One Card Services, LLC a division of Capital One Bank USA, NA. So the policies, CLI's, product types, etc are still the same as HSBC. Nothing has changed. We won't know the full effect of the changes until all of the accounts are formally moved over to Capital One's system. I spoke with an escalations manager at Capital One Bank USA, NA and he said they expect the HSBC accounts to be accessible in Capital One systems by Sept with new plastics issued 10/1/12.

10/20/2011 10/20/2011 FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE FINANCE CHG $1.50
10/20/2011 10/22/2011 FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE FIN/ANCE CHG REV -$1.50

You have the Best Buy MasterCard? Limit? Did you get approved for the CLI?

Yeah, current limit is $17,500 and it was declined due to not six months. My other HSBC card is due for a CLI next week.

I still get reps abroad and no special treatment lol I haven't noticed any difference between this and my old RZMC Gold $500 $59 AF card.
