Plan B is pretty much $750 hard limit for life of card.

Did you get a reciept print out of the card details? It may say what it is on there.

I called again and spoke to a more helpful CS representative.  He checked for me and told me I was approved for the Best Buy CC.  So needless to say, I'm happy about that!   So that solves the mystery!

$2000, got it for MacBook Air, they pulled TU last Thanksgiving which was around 680s

Ha, I'm the exact opposite, TU is my worst (only one with collections left) and EQ is my best.  I am hoping they pull EQ here in PA, and am kind of forcing them to because I froze both EX and TU.

I applied for and received the store card with $500 CL late in 2011 with a FICO (then) of about 650. Interestingly, I don't see any inquiry on my CR.

I haven't used the card, but would do so if I got a credit increase to $1,000 or so. I suppose that would require a hard pull

Yeah TU is my worst score too
