My daughter will be studying abroad in Italy for her final semester in college (yaaay), so I want to make sure she has easy, yet safe access to funds. We currently use BOA to transfer a monthly stipend into her checking account and she also uses CashApp, however, I think it may be wise to use something other than the card that is directly attached to her checking account, and I'm not 100% sure if CashApp is the best option either. She is already an authorized user on my Chase Slate, and she also has her own Discover It, neither of which she has full access to (only permitted for special, pre-arranged purchases). Any suggestions for a better/alternative credit card that she can use specifically while she's in Italy or should I just allow her to use the Slate and/or Discover? Any downsides to using either of these (fees, etc). Also, has anyone ever used the Navy Federal Buxx card, and if so, what was your experience with that? Thanks in advance.
*Note: Current scores are 700+ across the board
I am fairly certain Slate has FTF and with Discover, I'd be worried about acceptance
All Cap1 cards have no FTF and are Visa/Mastercard. Maybe have her app for the QS (not QS1) or you can app and add her as an auth user. 1.5% CB, simple!
If you want to get into PayPal, their MC has no FTF either (the CB one). 2% CB
I'm sure there is a few more, but Cap1 always comes to mind for no FTF. Both of my Amexs have no FTF, but being Amex I'm sure the acceptance in Europe is reduced.
EDIT: Look at the Uber Visa. It doesn't have a FTF and it has a much better reward earning profile.

I actually have a Plat Rewards Cap1 MC that I was considering adding her to as an AU. I will also look into the Uber Visa. Thank you very much for the suggestions!
