Best Dining card

Hi all,

What's the best option out there for Dining Rewards? The Capital One Dining Rewards? PNC Cash Rewards Visa? Just curious.

Thanks.

What I use (& strongly recommend): Chase Sapphire Reserve | BofA/ML (Premium Rewards VS, Cash Rewards VS, Merrill+ VS) | AmEx (Amazon Prime Business)

What I have: NFCU | PenFed | General Electric CU | Wright Patt CU | Discover | BBVA | Apple Card (GS)

Total CL with Bank of America = $100,000 (Platinum Honors Merrill Client). I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, so feel free to message me if you have any planning/credit questions.

Re: Best Dining card

I've actually been researching them recently. Right now my IT Chrome gives me 4% back for the first year, but after that it drops to 2%. The best two I found that I'm considering getting is the Capital One Premium Dining and Marvel MasterCard from Synchrony. Both give unlimited 3% back on dining. Capital One also gives 2% back on groceries while Synchrony gives 3% back on entertainment. When the time comes I'll probably go with the Capital One Premium Dining.

Re: Best Dining card

Liked that one too. App'ed for the Marvel Sync card --- no instant approval; probably because of new accounts. Is there a way to check the status? I need to make sure I get a replacement for my Discover card that's currently offering 5% CB on restaurants.  I think I'm close to the $1,500 max spend, anyhow Smiley Very Happy

I don't qualify for this card; not in the footprint, I guess. Any workarounds?
