Best way to use AMEX points?

I love my EDP Amex and I use it anywhere and everywhere I can. What is the best use of my rewards points? I am only interested in saving them up for travel expenses and trips, no daily stuff. How do you guys use them?

It's different for everyone. For me personally, British Airways Avios transfer is the best deal for short haul flights.

Also used MR points for a round trip ticket to Hawaii over thanksgiving, the same ticket was running for 1600$. I got it for 45000 points.

Jet Blue True Blue or Virgin America Elevate points is how I intend to use them. I doubt this is the best use, but I am more invested in Chase UR points.
