It sounds like you are on your way. I emphasized paying down credit card debt because most of the time people who are carrying high balances on low limit cards have challenges paying off that debt quickly. If you're able to pay off that debt within a month (or whatever length of time it takes), then you really can start focusing on maximizing credit card rewards once the debt is paid off.
Just remember to treat credit cards as a 30 day, no interest loan that has high interest if you don't pay off in full on time. Also remember that it is important to budget your expenses relative to your income to spend within your means and not go overboard on credit card spending if your income/budget don't feasibly allow it. If you do those things, you won't have any credit card debt in the future, your credit score will rise, and you'll eventually be in a spot to apply/be approved for better rewards earning credit cards and/or request credit limit increases on your existing cards. (You'll also be in a better position to save/invest money, especially as your pay increases or you get a better paying job.)
