I won't be surprised if they implement a HP policy for rolling limits. I think they know people use the current roll limit process instead of a HP CLI and they clearly don't like it. They're catching on.

I think in the future its not gonna be as simple to do and will require a HP...just like a CLI. That way there's no way to get around HP, or collect a bonus and then roll limit when AF comes up. People that take large advantage of these things are surely being noticed and this will slow them down.

I don't like it but at least it's still more "guaranteed" than initiating a CLI request.

I think it was only a matter of time. Few issuers move limits so easily with no HP.

Where exactly is your utilization at and what's your income if you don't mind me asking? Though you may be under 20%, you've got some pretty high limits there. They could be looking at DTI?

Mentioned that earlier as well 20% util by my calculations was approx 30k in debt on CC's.. Depending upon income, DTI could be high?

I still think they are catching onto the game though as I got connected from the regular Analyst to a Protfolio Risk Analyst when I moved some of my Freedom limits over to my CSP a week or two back.. She had no problem doing this, but this kinda sounds new to me.  I am about 99.9% sure they did a SP for this.  Personally I wasn't playing any game as I use my CSP alot more then my freedom and keeping them both open..

I will be really intersted when people start closing out their CSP and more so the Ritz at the end of the year how this might play out when people don't want to pony up the AF's but want to keep to CL's and roll them to no AF cc's.. I don't forsee this being pretty, just my speculation

Hmmm.

Well....I plan on at least keeping the Marriott Rewards for the complimentary stay.

CSP im on the fence about and may downgrade to CS or roll into Marriott.

RC is iffy but if they don't give me any guff about the airline credit i can see keeping it. Smiley Happy

I'll definitely keep my CSP. I might get rid of the PRG after a year.
