Blispay requiring proof of id

Besides the desire to slap the receptionist who asked "It's declined. Is is over limit?" I have a conundrum with Blispay.

 

Last used in June.  Zero balance.

Placed reports on ice July.

Tried to use Blispay. Declined.

Enter Receptionist that will be getting a negative Yelp Review.  Used Amex instead.

Called Blispay.  They put my account on hold in September, and are requesting 2 forms of ID with a Utility bill to be faxed.

Blispay card always remains in the vault at home until I need it.

 

I'm wondering if I should even bother.  I use it every 6-7 months for a large purchase.

I'm clean on credit behavior since 2015. 1% Utility reporting.

Side note:  New layout sucks. Reason:   Unable to log in on mobile. Only desktop.

Hey @Anonymous, good to see you again!

 

I hate to hear that about Blispay... like you, I "reserve" it for special occasions.  It looks like when I plan to use it again I'll need to make a test charge somewhere to make sure it works first... not something we should have to worry about.

 

P.S.  Hang in there with us on the site layout... there are about to be some changes made. Smiley Wink
