BoA massive APR reduction!

So currently in garden so thought id do my rounds and get Apr reductions even though I usually pay off balance it kinda helps my aping fix😉... BoA privileges was 18.99 they reduced to 9.99 the lowest they offer. Citi Prestige was 20.99 (never knew why it was so high to begin with) reduced to 14.9 slightly lower from what they offer. No HP'was a very simple process that was done straight away.

Re: BoA massive APR reduction!

Congrats!  I tried this mission last year on my BofA travel and cash reward cards and to my surprise also got 9.99% their prime rate.... feels nice Smiley Happy ..This is why I will continue my mission in fall with my other lenders to see who will budge to lower APR for me... The biggest experiment will be Chase with 22,99% and from what I heard they will not even consider but that will not prevent me from asking..LOL

Congrats Smiley Happy

Did you just call the regular CS number on back of the card?

I called the number on the back of my card.  She saw I had another card too with BoA and also saw the balances of my none BoA cards and offered 0% balance transfers. I turned it down since ht balance I have on my Duck card is 0% already.

Nicely done OP...good APR reduction spread.  Unfortunately, Chase will not reduce APR.  You can call them though.

Wow! I might have to call them... Anyways they've never done an HP for my APR reductions either.

I've got it down from the highest 21% Cash rewards to 16/17% (Can't remember)
