BoFA Basic Visa UPGRADE?

Hey guys. I've had my BoFA basic visa card since 2008 with a $500 CL. I want a different card with Rewards. How do I go about doing so? (I do not want to apply for a different/seperate BoFA card). Please help me, I feel stuck!

Call the number on the back of your card and tell them you want to change your card "Accelerated Rewards American Express" card.

Or, do like I did, and log into your CC account online, and just do an online chat with a representative. No HP and no new account, your history transfers over. No approval or anything, they just give it to you.

a few days ago i received an email offer from BofA to upgrade my basic visa gold to their Americard Cash rewards visa (1% everyday, 2% groceries, 3% gas)

maybe you could try for that?
