So the love button has been on my bofa account for the last 6 months. I check my account this am and I recieved a mysterious auto cli from 5k to 6k on my cash rewards card.....now no button......I mean, I appreciate the auto cli but I was actually going to apply for the premium travel card then attempt a cli with that hp on my cash rewards card...thoughts? Odd that the luv button dissapeared after an auto cli?

Almost always BoA pulls TU for CLI and EX for new app (based on majority of DPs floating around). In some rare cases they double pull both on CLI or app.
If it was me, I would just call them depending in which bureau I’d want them to pull. If it’s TU then I’d call and ask for more CLI. And if it’s EX then I’d app online then call their UW for another CLI on the other card. “Almost” always they’d use the same CR as when you app’d which was EX.
Good Luck and please report back your result for more DPs for all of us here at FICOlandia!
When I got a credit increase (requested) the button went away for 3 months.
Thanks my experian is 803, trans is 805 so not much difference......Im stuck in a bofa travel rewards vs csp vs csr conundrum. Not sure what to do, and have this bofa cli thing in the back of my head....will keep you posted...but it might be a minute..
BoA Travel Rewards isn't even in the same league as CSP let alone CSR. About the only leg up it has on the Sapphire cards is 0 AF, but if that's what you care about there are muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better 0 AF cards out there.
CSP is far superior to CSR IMHO. To each their own. And you can have the Bank of America card and the CSP both if you aren't over 5/24.
Curious to your thoughts on why the csp is superior to csr? All the info I can get the better, thank you!
The only way that a CSP is "better" than a CSR is that it has a lower annual fee. Use the travel credits and the real difference in annual fee is only $55. If you spend $2000 or so in combined travel (which is broadly defined) and restaurant purchases over the course of a year, the value of the additional URs outweighs the difference in annual fee. If you use the Chase travel portal to redeem your URs for travel purchases, you will have made up for the difference in AF with like a $200 redemption! I'm planning to PC my CSP to CSR this summer after paying off my Slate BT. It's a shame that the CSR isn't a real Visa Infinite card, though, as it doesn't qualify for the $100 companion ticket discount like the Ritz-Carlton card, for example.
And to swing this back on-topic, you should certainly figure out if the Premium Rewards or Travel Rewards card makes more sense for your spend (and any status). Usually after any CLI with BoA, the link will disappear for a few months. I'd certainly try calling and speaking to them after applying to get a boost on the Cash Rewards card.
