Currently have the Cash Rewards and Travel Rewards showing as offers through my BofA portal
Solid APR's showing on both offers with 0% intro and 18.99% after.
Is anyone aware if Bank of America does soft or hard pulls for offers through the banking portal?

@Anonymous Congratulations on your offers. It will be a hard pull once you apply. It could be Experian or TransUnion depending on your region.
Thanks for the reply - the rep on the phone said it would be a soft pull but she she didnt sound to sure of herself when she said it
I know that they went to soft pulls for CLI's

I don't recall reading any SP approval. Maybe it's possible but I woud expect a HP.
When I accepted my offer it was a HP on Experian.

Good on ya for your will power. The offer may come and go until you accept. I think I waited 6-7 months before applying.
@Anonymous It's def a hard pull. I applied for my cash rewards from an offer through the portal & it was a HP on EX. I'm in New England

This.
The only relevance to an offer extended via the Activity Center (Special Deals & Offers) is that it's a valid preapproval and not a permutation of their marketing-driven invitations to apply. You'll still take a hard pull and there is still the possibility of denial especially if there has been a notable change in your credit profile in the last couple of months.

I am not aware of SP's for BoA approvals for new CC's.
Not for a CC, although they at least used to reuse a HP for up to 30 days. No idea if they still do that or not.
