BofA / FIA Balance Transfer Question

I got some BT checks in the mail from FIA Card Services.  If I deposit one into my checking account and then use the money to pay off my BofA balance would they have any way of knowing that was what I was doing?  Would they care?  I could always deposit the check into one account and then move enough money over to another account to pay this one balance off if I needed to.

You can use BT checks for cash advances and it's totally fine. They wouldn't care if you even kept the cash for yourself, they are still getting their 3% off the top plus interest. So it's fine.
