BofA Question

Are they CO friendly? I have two COs (one settled for less than full, and the other PIF) back in 2009 and just picked up a Discover More with 5k CL. I was wondering if BofA is so forgiven as more and Amex are. My Experian is 710 and AAOA is 8yr-10 months with oldest card 23 years. I have a solid portfolio with mortgage, several car loans PIF, etc.

Anyone here approved for BofA with old CO on report. If yes, how old were the CO when you ifrst got approved.

Re: BofA Question

I was approved in 2008 with several COs that were around 3 years old and terrible scores (see below), however I was only approved for a secured card.  On it's one year anniversary it unsecured and was CLI'd (from $300 to $800 - it was a small card because I couldn't afford to put a lot down, cards that had larger deposits usually don't get a CLI when unsecured from what I've read) and since then it has not seen any increase.

It's now 4 years old and on the chopping block if there isn't a drastic change by the time it's 5!

Re: BofA Question

BoA approved me for a 1% cashback card with two collections and over twenty baddies overall.  After six months, they PCed me to a 123 Cash Rewards.  They seem to be pretty lenient in their approvals.

Re: BofA Question

Thanks alot. This give me some hope to get back in with them. I did not CO any of their card, but went into a debt consolidation prg with them to pay off large balance. But I'm considering applying for one of their card soon.
