Not for Bank of America. PCs can be quite different with them. Sometimes the CSRs aren't even aware they can do them! As long as you get a CSR that knows what they are doing (or is willing to try), you should be able to PC among the regular cards (BankAmericard, Cash Rewards, Travel Rewards) no problem, but it may take a month before you actually end up with the new card in hand.
