it would cost $215.62 to transfer them (as opposed to 678$ to buy 23000 miles)
Delta was just running a sale on fares to CUN from the west coast. $262 r/t for trips in september.
I guess they will be collecting cyber dust from this point forward ![]()

AA miles can be super useful, just not in your case. Bad routing area. lol.
100k miles can get you r/t to europe in business class.
Wish I had known my area was an issue months ago. Ah well I'm blessed to be traveling at all no point in dwelling on the past
Will tough it out in my non reclining seats with a smile and positive attitude. Mostly
3.) Total travel time each way was between 20-30 hours on average compared to 9-15 hours on average with price flights. Crazy long layovers.
I was just looking up DR myself but NOT using miles. 25-30 hours, 2-3 connections.
I don't get why they don't have better connections.

Thats what it shows you when searching for regular purchase flights? Awful. Where are you departing from?

What do you mean non-reclining seats?
Also, depending on the length of your stopover, you got an admiral's club day pass with your US air card. Maybe make use of it ![]()

Phoenix. I only had 4 days... a long weekend but kinda useless if you're traveling for over 2 days. There was one 16 hour redeye (yay!
) but with a tight 45 minute connection. Ehh. Probably lose your luggage, ha. Ugh.

Row 13 doesn't recline on any of my flights. Isn't that fabulous?
I checked the seating chart on Seatguru and then confirmed it with an AA rep. I'm a little person so not really a big deal. I don't believe I've ever used the recline option on a flight now that I think about it. But for someone else it might be an issue. So rows 8-12 weren't available, most were grayed out bc they are main cabin seats which are off limits to moi. It was either Row 13 or Row 20 and beyond.

Must be the first exit row then. At check in you might see a lot of other seats open up. Make sure you check in at the first possible minute (24 hours before departure)
Might even be able to get a good deal on a first class upgrade =]
