The point of this post is to be a PSA and to add what seems to be a relatively rare comment / DP about the availability / geofencing of the Comenity Bread AAA cards.
After having done major hoop jumping over the past 2 days to attempt applying for the Daily version. I have given up.
I do not jump hoops to apply for a CC. Had I know in the first place there was hoop jumping involved, such as less than honest answers, I would have only done a quick check to see if I was in an available location. If I wasn't would not have wasted any more time on it.
Example keywords I would (and did) use while researching this:
Comenity Bread AAA Daily and Travel Advantage Geofenced Geofence Geofencing Geolocked states regional geographic geographical available availability application where to apply how to apply
I did finally find this comment elsewhere
"You have to enter a Zip Code from any of the following NE states: CT, MA, NH, NJ, NY & RI"
Maybe that only used to work or maybe still does and YMMV, but for me even that didn't work.
I also found some relatively recent (3 month and less) comments elsewhere describing the same that I ran in to.
Doesn't it depend on the AAA region you apply from. For example, from AAA Credit Card I AAA Visa Signature® Card I Credit Card I AAA | AAA Club Alliance

Agreed, my experience has been that AAA is broken down into regional groups, and certain credit products are available only to certain groups.

Yes regional part of it goes to Bread and part of it goes to US Bank
AAA is actually a network of auto clubs (see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Automobile_Association#List_of_regional_clubs). They try to do some annoying website voodoo to make it look seemless but it is not.
As noted above, "AAA" splits their credit cards between more than one card issuer. More specifically each AAA region may choose to use Bread/Comenity or US Bank which are different cards with different benefits. So it is very possible that you are not in a region using Bread/Comenity and therefore locked out. This is on AAA for not being more transparent in their marketing.
EDIT: Adding in screen shot of the US Bank version (non-Comenity). Note you can see this by going to acg.aaa.com in a Private Browser window and entering you are in GA with zip of say 30004.
I thought Comenity / Bread are the issuers of the co-branded card.
How much does AAA/Auto Club get for use of their name ?
$14K CL
Have $123 in rewards after 6 months of use.
AAA Membership is regional, so the credit card is tied to that region's issuer. There are many regions ( and Issuers) of the AAA card.
Very confusing.
Just for fun, I tried a few times to apply for the AAA Travel here from CA, and I kept getting this:
yeah im in the northeast and have the AAA travel version, 5% on EV charging everyday is nice.
Yes, I have Tesla charging on this card for 5%.
Don't even have a Tesla - charge my Ford at Tesla Superchargers though.
