@texasman07, I received the same pre-approval from their website via the shopping cart on May 15. But I received the dreaded 7-10. Come to find out somehow they were under the impression I was 17-21 years of age, so they needed me to fill out a Hard App on paper. They sent me a letter stating this, so I called the CS number and asked for a floor supervisor. I let her know that their info was inaccurate that I was 38 years old. So she redid the application over the phone, only asking for the last 4 of my SSN (soft pull) and approved me instantly. Only $300 starting limit, but that can always grow with age. It took me a couple of weeks on the phone, but the persistance finally paid off. 
So don't give up just cos you received the 7-10, it's not always a closed door.
