Re: Business Credit

When you say major credit do you mean major credit line or prime company?

With the credit crunch these day, most company will pull your report to be able to give you a

resonable credit line. If your scores are decent I would recommend you to check out Amex, Boa, Citi

Professional, or Advanta. I know Advanta and Amex will not report unless you default.

Re: Business Credit

HI- Thanks for responding
Im looking for AMEX, or Citi for business without PG. My Business credit is Perfect. My personal is not so good as I have a couple of baddies from Years ago (which I am working on) I dont even care if they are prime right now as I plan on PIF. I just need something other then store cards, vendor acts and an auto loan for other purchases.\

Re: Business Credit

Try for Home Depot Business Master Card. It is issued by Citi and you can apply with only your business credit. They dont even ask your personal ssn. Goodl Luck.

Re: Business Credit

Shoot I just applied this morning for the store card... I didnt think I would get approval for the MC as this was my forth time... Will it convert? Or can I reapply for the MC after a few great payments?

Re: Business Credit

The home depot business rewards is worth a try I got mine in nov. 07 with $1800 cl last week I called and recieved a cli to $9000. Also arco will give you card but I closed it because its a charge card with a monthly fee of $10. why would someone want a pif with monthly fee? anyways goodluck!!

P.S. I wish there was a little more disscussion on Business credit cards and lines of credit.

Re: Business Credit

Thanks Credit4biz
It has been a LONG and hard road to establish credit for our construction biz.
Ironically The first two were the easiest
Dell with a CL of 25K
Office depot CL of 3k
THen Nothing, nada zippo...
I ended up having 22 INQ for the last two years becasue of PGs with no luck.
I established a DNB with 699 with all of my vendors but Dell and OD would not report.
Experian didnt even establish a file until we got a FMC loan and then suddenly I had three TL, but a low score because of a collection. Dont even know what it is....

I kept apping at HD because everyone said it was easy... No luck until I noticed that DNB had the wrong INCORPORATION date it said 2006, but it was in 2005
Fixed it last week and reapped to HD they approved for 7500, but I asked for 10k based on our monthly useage... They gave it to me... I was sooo excite I called DH (who works 7 days a week) to tell himt he good news... We spend so much there that we couldnt believe they would take this long to give us credit.

PS maybe we should start our own thread for BIZ...

I do, too! We're trying to get a biz credit forum going eventually. Still in the planning stages, I think.

Re: Business Credit

Amex requires PG ALWAYS.
You can go back and apply for home depot mastercard. they are considered different than store card.
Sams Discover might be a good option too.

That's about all I can think of for major without pg

Re: Business Credit

You could also ask for Key Bank Business Master Card with out PG. They are issued by Citi and you might get it.
