CAPITAL ONE - Modify your Features button

Has anyone ever got anything out of this sadistic button? I have a Plat for 4 years with perfect history, and I cant get that thing to do anything.

Was just curious if anyone ever got something out of it besides "Features are not available for your account" deadbeat LOL, you just know there is some counter someplace racking up total clicks, and some analysts taking bets around the water cooler on how many times the monkey hits the sadistic button LOL

Nothing for me.

I did convert one of my platinums to a VentureOne card, but I received that offer in the mail.

Re: CAPITAL ONE - Modify your Features button

I'm guessing that button only works for some cards.  Probably no options available for the rebuilder cards.  I have a Classic Plat with a $39 AF and that button has never done anything for me.  But someone with one of the Prime cards might be able to PC through that.  Maybe someone with a Venture can hit it and tell us if there are any options available.

Re: CAPITAL ONE - Modify your Features button

yeah ive been hitting that stupid button for yearrrs now...never anything.

This Visa Platinum was my first card about 4-5 years ago so I guess its probably not one of the cards that has any potential.

Re: CAPITAL ONE - Modify your Features button

Nothing for me either.  I have read on the forum that one person had a conversion offer, but that has been a few months ago.  So they do exist, but it seems only rarely.

What card do you have?  If people would list what cards they have, it would help collect accurate information.  The amount of Cap One rebuilder cards on here is overrepresented (no offense if you have one, I do too).  But so much of the Cap One info I feel is skewed in that direction.  I don't know if it is accurate to say that it rarely has anything if the only info we have is from rebuilder cards that aren't eligible for modification.  Perhaps you have one of their Prime products and still don't receive offers.  That would be interesting to know.

Re: CAPITAL ONE - Modify your Features button

I can only go off of what I have read here, so you are right that it is a small sample to go off of.  Having said this, I am not seeing this thread light up with news otherwise, so until it does I will stand by my observation that it seems rarely to happen.

I have the Platinum CC and the Rewards CC.

Re: CAPITAL ONE - Modify your Features button

I had the Platinum Visa from Capital One and just got it upgraded to Venture One. I called customer service because my computer messed up and sent my payment through twice, after he fixed that issue he told me my card was eligible for an upgrade to the Venture One card. This was my first credit card and I've had it for almost 5 years. It took 3 years for them to give me my first CLI and now 2 years later they upgraded it! Since I got my upgrade over the phone, I can't really speak to if the online button actually works, but maybe you should try calling them?
