My freedom has a CL of $20K and it's a regular card. My only concern to convert to a Sig is that it might not report the credit limit to the credit bureau.
On the other hand my NFCU is a sig and it report the CL. Can anyone confirm if the Chaase Freedom Sig report the CL?

99% sure Chase reports limits of Siggy cards.
Just submitted a secure message requesting the Siggy. I've tried sometime late last year, was denied no discernable reason. I figured I'd try again today. If they don't give me the siggy - back to the sock drawer!

I would try calling it in, I find its always best to talk to an actual person. If you get somebody that tells you no, then call back and try again later...it all depends on what CSR you get. I have been with Chase for years now and I have had several credit card accounts with them and have done numerous product changes and payment network changes. The Chase Freedom Visa Signature I have now originally started out as a Chase Platinum Visa back in 2007 then was later automatically converted to a Chase Slate some years later. I called sometime last year to inquire about upgrading the account to a Chase Sapphire since it already had a credit line of above 5K. I was given the upgrade with no questions asked and the card was automatically switched to a Visa Signature and the account number changed in the process.
A couple of months ago, I applied for a Chase Sapphire Preferred (World MasterCard) because I was tempted by the sign-up bonus and I called shortly after getting the card to see if I can change my regular Sapphire to a Freedom, since I don't need two Sapphires. Again, I was given the product change...no questions asked. The Freedom kept the same account number as the Sapphire and hence remained a Visa Signature card.
Now, I don't know exactly what Chase's criteria is for product changes...not sure if they give preference to people with a better relationship or not. I have several accounts with Chase (checking, 2 credit cards, and an auto loan) and I have had others with them in the past (now closed, paid, etc.) so that may be why these changes were done without hesitation...but I seriously doubt it. Like I said, I believe it all depends on what CSR you get...there are some that know all the in's and out's and what they can do and there are some others that are unknown to such things and just down right have no idea what you are talking about. Don't forget that you can always ask to speak to a supervisor if you aren't getting anywhere. It all boils down to following the old adage, "If at first you don't succeed...try, try again."

What a load of BS. Call again and talk to another CSR.
Don't think it will do any good. The CSR said any available upgrades are listed on the account page they pull up. The only upgrade showing for me was a PC to Mastercard Platinum.

I'm 100% sure Chase reports limits on Visa Signature cards.
