CITI CLI HELP!!!!

OKAY SO I HAD A SECURED CARD WHICH UNSECURED-YAY THANKS CITI

CITI TELLS ME I CAN PRODUCT CHANGE MY CARD TO AN AA CARD.  MY CL WAS 200.00$.  CITI TELLS ME I NEED AT LEAST 300.00$ CL TO PC MY CARD.

I WAIT A WEEK AND I ASK FOR 300 DOLLARS.   APPROVED!!!!  I DIDNT WANT TO PUSH MY LUCK SO I ASKED FOR THE MINIMUM SINCE IT JUST UNSECURED.

I CALL TO PC THE CARD AND NOW THEY TELL ME I NEED AT LEAST 1000.00$ CL TO PC.  I AM SO TICKED.

ANYWAYS, HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT TO ASK FOR ANOTHER CLI????

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET APPROVED TWICE IN ONE WEEK.

Sorry to hear this. Not sure exactly what card you want to convert to but it might be wise to check the terms and conditions of that card to find out the minimum credit line. I hope another board member with more experience with Citi can help. Good luck.

I was told by a Citi rep last time I got a CLI that it's 6 months between CLI requests... Also every single CLI request has been a SP for me.

Wow that sucks. I thought the rule was no CLI until 6 months from account opening? I remember a poster getting back to back CLIs in the same week.

I was told from a rep via chat that CLI are at 6 months after account opening and 6 months after the last CLI request regardless if successful.

I did not know or understand this prior.

I had a SP cli in october 2012, granted....

I thought what the hey, try again in december 2012, but i was declined due to having tried one in Oct, but get this, since I tried in Dec and was declined I have to waut 6 months from the last request in december.

I now understand.  I blew a couple of months by trying for one before the 6 months from the last.

But I now know.
