In mail today Citi letter concerning changes in Double Cash World Mastercard account effective 11/22/18.
Citi Flex Plan - "From time to time we may offer you the opportunity to create a Citi Flex Plan to make fixed monthly payments to pay off purchases or a loan against your card's credit line. Flex Pay you can pay for eligible transactions under a Citi Flex plan. With Citi Flex Loan, you can use your credit line to access funds and pay for those funds under a Citi Flex Plan."
APR for Citi Flex Plan - 16.99%
Also says to keep an eye out for offers based on your eligibility. Sounds like they starting something like Amex's Plan It, plus the addition of using Flex Loan . This could be interesting with Chase closing down their Blueprint feature. As more people are informed and details released we'll see how this is taken across our boards.
Just wanted let you all know it's coming...
Ai, that APR hurts my eyes. You need a hazmat sign on that post. It burns ....
I got that same letter today for my Diamond Preferred MC. I guess theyr're trying to compete with Amex Plan It?
Funny thing is, that I only use that card for the 0% BT offers. Which come to speak of might be over, as they recently had an offer for 1.99%. lol
IMo, 16.99% is a bit high for special finacing options. Thye could have at least went with somewhere between 4-9%.

I also received this letter and have the Diamond Preferred card, with a balance transfer on it. I should still have 12 months of 0% interest. If this flex plan takes effect next month does the 0% interest go away? Are they going to start charging me the 16.99%?
Welcome to MyFICO
No, you won't lose the 0% offer that came with the card.
