CLI request, or another Card...NFCU

I'm debating on my next move. Have had the NFCU CashRewards card since May and was going to proceed with a CLI and ask for the max $50k. I'm hopeful that with my income, I would get the max but now I'm starting to wonder if it would be a better idea to just apply for the Flagship or Platinum card instead. My goal would be to eventually have both/all cards with the max limit, so should I just try it or just get the one I have to the max first?

I would apply for a new card and see if the system instantly gives it to you or goes into review.

either way following the app I would then hit the cli on your current card for the $50k.
