We have beat this subject to death and it's time to move on. OP asked a simple question and there is no indication that he is some sort of serial churner that Chase is going to give the death penalty. As usual same people come out to rant about churners. It's clear that the OP by the nature of his question is not one and there is no reason he can't apply for a second CSP.
OP asked about the earliest he can sign up for another bonus. There is more reason to suspect he is a churner, than not.
I get some people went off on some rants, but no reason to all bold a blown out of proportion response.

The bold was an accident. I disagree about your assessment of the OP but nonetheless it's time to move on. And regardless of where you stand the people on both 'sides' of this issue have made their points many times before. And in full disclosure I have never closed out a single card.

Well, clearly we went a little bit off-topic (and I apologize for my part in that).
And we beat this horse pretty good, so it's dead.
@Anonymous wrote:Talking about lower costs for consumers as a whole, not just credit card holders. So you want credit card rewards and do it via spending and one time bonuses. Others want rewards via churning, and others via MS. My point is that getting rewards on ccs at least in theory increase costs for all, so you are "ruining it for everybody" yourself
Except that there is no evidence for this at all. So far, countries that have severely limited interchange fees have seen little to no benefits for consumers. Even the European Parliament as they endorsed a 0.3% interchange fee on credit cards estimated that the annual benefit to consumers would be chump change (730 Million Euros - that is a whopping ONE EURO per card per year) compared to the benefit retailers are likely to reap (6 Billion Euros).
It also makes logical sense. One of the key arguments retailers make for tough caps on CC transactions is that for many retailers the margin is already thin and even a small ding to accept card payments hurts. Well, the very fact that margins are slim means that they cannot just pass the cost onto the consumer, because if they could they would already be charging higher prices.
The argument that European style capping of fees (some capping is probably OK but not what Europe is doing) will benefit the consumer as a whole has very little basis in evidence, and far more basis in retailer profits. It does not, in fact, benefit consumers - rather by taking away bank's ability to give rewards, it hurts consumers.

No need to apologize. We all can be passionate in our opinions at times.

And as usual, the same people come out to advocate for/support churning. You can't chastise one side and just let the other skate.
As for whether it's clear that OP is not a churner "by the nature of his question," (a) I don't agree at all that it is so clear, and (b) OP's question IS churning, whether they do it serially or not.

My intent wasn't to chastise anyone. I apologize if it came across that way. My intent is for all of us to move on.

I advocate churning heavily but understand not everyone has the constitution or funds to do so. I also understand and lament the fact it is getting harder to churn.
It's better to rail against it in the hopes that a lot of people stop, leaving it easier to do for you! I wonder if that is why ....., nah can't be!
