CSP 80K Signup offer in branch

I figured I would post this just so people are aware. There is (or at least was when I applied) an increased SUB offer on the CSP online, via travel blogs etc. 80k points for 4k spend with $50 grocery store credit  (AF not waived first year). I went into the branch and was able to get the 80k points for 4k spend with no AF. There was no mention of the $50 grocery store credit. Still I took the in branch offer because I was coming out ahead with the AF being waived. The reason for my post is that I was just looking over my statement and it seems like even though it wasn't mentioned in the in branch offer I am getting the $50 grocery store credit as well which makes this a great offer.

Which offer? One is online and the other was shown to me when I went into the branch.

Re: CSP Signup offer in branch

I applied in branch as well, I called my local branch to see if it was waived, he said yeah and I stated there was a grocery statement too and he said it came with it as well. I'd figure this would be a good card to keep for at least a good 2 years!

I'm keeping mine for at least one year and then we will see. I have a lot of cards with overlapping benefits, but who knows what can change in a year.

Re: CSP Signup offer in branch

Looks nice. I have the same online prequal offer but AF is not waived. I plan to visit branch to check their offer. I assume, the would tell the AF status before submitting the application and HP. Anyway, if it would be the same as online offer, I would take it.

They usually have the branch offer printed out that they can show you.

I just apped in branch. It is identical to the online offer - the offer details looked exactly the same as on Chase site - except the AF is waived. Everything else is there, including $50 grocery credit.

One oddity is the PYB verbiage was not on the branch app, but we found it on the main site. I'm not concerned since I encountered a similar issue of finding no verbiage about the 5% grocery bonus on my CFF in mobile, yet it has always been applied.
