Read the fine print on the page where you sent out the email referral. If they have opted out (solicitation in general I believe) they will not receive the email.

Ive tried to sign up for it, but I get this message.

Nope that didnt work, I tweeted ChaseSupport, they told me they're testing this feature with a small number of chase clients. We hope to add more later.

I mentioned how a few people I know have been able to refer people, and asked how the random process is targeting.

No go for me either. I have 3 people I know who would sign up for a Chase card and 2 of them are quiete well off who put a lot through their current cards. Chase is missing out by not letting me refer them...

The Freedom link worked for me but not the CSP. Perhaps, it has to do with account opening- Freedom over 6 mos and CSP less than 3 mos.
