I feel like I got the card after all the good stuff got nerfed. 7% annual dividend, 3K spend instead of 4K, and now First Friday's. Can't even try for a Freedom any time soon to thicken my UR points. Think they'll come out with anything new soon? The points transfer is great and that will be enough for me, but it's too nice a card for such blah benefits
Don't think so, i had the chance to eat out on two different fridays and i didnt.
I also wonder what chase's plan with that card is , i think i may retire that card. Afer getting the premeir i think premier may be the better option since it gives an little extra on gas and travel which is pretty nice.
Not without the annual fee going up.
Well the 3x travel vs 2x on csp plus the 3x gas is wha did it for me. I am planning on pooling my MR, UR, and TYP to SQ and then taking an nice trip to Germany on SQ first if i can scrounge up the points. I still have ink plus to use as my Transfer to airline partners on UR

Mong, when did you switch from Korean to Singapore?
Glad you did. I love Singapore. Even their redemption for United is better than what United offers by itself.
About retiring CSP, won't you lose out on transferring about 30k points annually on the Freedom? (assuming you max out 1.5k quarterly spending) That should pay for the AF of CSP by itself and still get you some plus.
Edit: Maybe you have the Ink ![]()

Hello mr ghost,
I could have taken KE instead of Asiana but decided on asiana due to lower fees for business class. The reason why i was choosing singapore is that i have three cards that i can use that transfer miles to SQ. PRG/EDP , Ink Plus, and Citi Premeir.
I still will accrue decent amount of UR via freedom and ink plus , just CSP has soured on me an little bit with the constant nerfs. I honestly feel that Premier has surpassed CSP due to the 3x gas and 3x travel categories. Maybe i am wrong who knows.
I'm gonna hold on to this card for another year, but they dont add something, there's no reason for me to have it anymore.
