CSP vs Marriott Rewards Premier

I know that you can transfer points earned with the Freedom to the CSP, but is the same also true for the Marriott Rewards Premier? Also, are the 50k sign up bonus with the Marriott card the same "type" of points earned with the CSP or are they strictly Marriott points?

The CSP seems to be a very popular card on here but the Marriott Rewards Premier seems like a great deal too if you stay at the Marriott.

Re: CSP vs Marriott Rewards Premier

I have both.  Try to wait for the targeted 70k bonus on the Marriot Premier if you are a marriot rewards member.  The points do not transfer to UR points for CSP.  I used the 70k points to stay 3 nights at a decent hotel in California this past summer.

Scores: EQ 796, EX 790, TU 807
Personal and Business Cards: 31 with 763k
High Limit Cards: CSP 50k | BoA Cash 81k | NFCU flagship 60k | Penfed Rewards 50k | Aviator Silver 52k

I have both.

CSP is better for everyday spending and you can transfer points to MR program and lots of others.

Marriott is better for stays at Mariott due to bouns points X based on Marriott status.

CSP i find gives lower CL at start and Marriott gave me a hugh CL to start.

Just to avoid too much excitement, I assume this is meant to be UR program!

I think he meant into Marriot Rewards.  Usually people don't call it MR I had to do a second take myself.
