Has anyone successfully taken advantage of the trip cancellation insurance benefit of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card?
The reason I ask: I recently booked family travel to Barcelona on Norwegian Air for February 2019. I paid for the tickets with my CSR card. I also bought trip insurance via the Norwegian website as part of the booking process.
Now it appears Norwegian may be in serious financial trouble and could cease operations soon. The airline claims to be taking measures to shore up its liquidity, and I hope they don't have to shut down. I have to admit that I'm glad I purchased travel insurance for this trip!
In the event that Norwegian ceases operations before February, I may have to file a travel insurance claim. Hopefully, their travel insurance would cover the loss. But if not, I may have to file a claim with the insurance underwriter Chase uses for the CSR. Has anyone done that successfully for a cancelled trip?

If Norwegian ceases operation, hopefully, that would mean an automatic refund
I hope so, too. But if they declare insolvency, I'm not sure anyone would get a refund, passengers or creditors alike!
As far as I know, travel insurance includes coverage for involuntary trip cancellation resulting from a situation like this.
Simply call up CSR line and ask? Although i speculate you would be covered
