Re: Caesars rewards Rewards VISA - thoughts

I got this card from a pre approval pop up when I was booking a Vegas trip for me and my husband. The card is worth it if you frequent casinos. I was in the rebuilding stages of my life after wrecking my credit so I couldn't get a better rewards card at the time. I have had no issues with the card and the only time Comenity closed an account on me was when a card hadn't been used in 6 months. They also lowered the limit on one of my cards when my credit score dropped but 3 months later they raised it again without me asking. I got approved for that card with 8 Inq and several new accounts. My fico 8 was around 620 at the time. You can read about dozens of people and their experiences with Comenity but in the end each credit profile varies as with their experiences with this particular lender. If you would benefit from the rewards I say it's a great card to have. If you are just looking for a new card to add to your portfolio I would research other options that better fit your spending. I will add that because it's Comenity and not one of the "BIG BOY LENDERS" eg. American Express, Capital One, Discover... your starting limit might be lower than you want and it might not grow as high as you'd hoped.

i agree, when it gets to a usable amount, stop asking for CLI.  i use mine a lot for the Vegas perks, but its not for everyone.  i have found that it has gotten me more comp rooms and things.  ALso,, the free parking is great if you rent a car there ( i dont).  theres also the FNBO MLife card, harder to get, but similar perks.  i applied for it and am waiting still as we speak. LOL GOOD luck if you get it, let us know what you decide, interested to know if you get it.  (2 free buffet passes will be added to your caesars account when you get approved also.)
