It's been almost 2 weeks and after two long calls to customer service I can't access my Lowes store card credit account online. I put in my username, then my password on the next screen. Then I always get a screen asking me for my account #. I do that, click Next, and always get a message "due to technical difficulties we cannot access your account information at this time, please try again later".
Two calls to the # on the back of the card. The front line rep tells me the card is not registered. The first time at her insistence I tried registering the account # as a new account, it said the account is already registered. I ask for a senior rep, get transferred, and also says the account is not registered. I assure it is, I registered it when I got the card in Feb 2015, made a deferred interest purchase and made six payments online. I hadn't used the card since August 2015, and made a $150 purchase Aug 12, as in 2 weeks ago. Senior rep assures me the account is in good standing, no fraud alerts, and the automated system you have to go through to get a live rep tells me I have around $4850 credit available on my $5k CL. So she says she will issue a "work ticket" to fix it. That was almost a week ago, nothing has changed.
Any suggestions?
Maybe "forgot password" to bring up a different screen and get in a different route? hrmmmm, never had a prob logging in to lowes. Also maybe try a dif browser or your phone.

Thanks, tried that & lookup ID, anything like that asks for my account #, and entering my account # always brings up the "tech difficulties, can't access your account info, try again later". I use Firefox, and also have Chrome & Windows 10 Internet Explorer, and the rep had me trry those, same result. I asked if they have a tech support center they can transfer me to, they claim they don't have one. Really frustrating.I'm enrolled in paperless statements, so if I can't get it fixed I won't get a statement for the recent purchase & will have to figure how how to pay it.

per Google... payments can be made at any local Lowe`s store.
Since it's Synchrony and they've been updating their website to a single domain recently I had an issue with my Sam's account and found that logging into the mobile site worked better than the full site. Finally re-registered my open account I couldn't see on the main site with a new login username to bypass the clusterF#$% of CSR's on their side that didn't understand that they were missing some coding on the website to allow viewing more than one account linked to a username.
Try this and see if it works for you from either your PC or Phone... it should work on either.

Thanks for all the suggestions, and I use a bookmark to login, the same as elim posted. I think austinguy got it right for my problem, and that was my suspicion for the cause of my probem - I have 2 Lowes accounts. I had an account that was closed in 2010; when I got my new account in Jan 2015 and tried to register it the system recognized me and made me log into that existing account, When I did, and thereafter with each successful login it would show both accounts, the closed & new account, and I clicked which one I wanted to access.
So I called again yesterday and got a better rep. She said she was deactivating my account and told me to wait overnight for the system to reset. So this morning I login with username, password, and asked for my account #, but this time it gave me a security challenge of last 4 digits of my social #, mother's maiden name & another question. Voila! It had me change my password, and now I see both accounts and can access the new, active one & see my recent purchase.
Thank goodness, I was ready to close the account if they didn't get if fixed - I live in the boonies and it's an hour to the nearest Lowes, so I don't shop there that often. But I do have a home improvement project this fall and I'm waiting for them to change the deferred interest term to 12 or 18 months, which they usually do in September. Thanks again for all the replies & suggestions.
I'm glad you got it worked out ! After reading this, I remembered that happened to me when they synched an old closed Chevron gas card log-in with the new Chevron visa that I received a couple of years ago.
I'm in Dallas, Texas & every Lowes/Home Depot stores here are on opposite corners everywhere (but always more action @ HD).
Just have to keep calling until you get a smart one, lol. Congrats
