Cap 1 Choices

Hey guys/gals, how is everyone today?  So, I have (my wife is an AU) a QS1 with Cap1 that has been opened for over 2 years now, and the AF has been waived perm.  I have tried for CLI but nada, even from EO...oh well.  So, I  have seen the Venture craze, and while I don't need another card, it would be nice to join the Cap 1 prime game and "grow" with me later on as I don't think my current QS1 will, and they say I can't PC.  "my card is gonna be upgraded with a chip so wait....".  So, I have looked at the pre-qual page and it only comes back with my current QS1 and the classip plat...welll....until a few mins ago...This popped up:    *question is...I am assuming I would have a pretty good shot at them, but nada def. until applied?  I have a new Freedom, Discover It and Arrival cards.  I have room to rotate this card in and PIF...So, won't carrry a balance on any of them... I have NEVER had a Siggy card, that is defined by the CL right?  What do yall think?  Don't fly a bunch, but could use the points/miles for hotels my family. Is the AF a huge deal, well I don't want to pay it, but its a year away as well.  What yall think, good shot at getting 1 of the 3?  which one yall recommend...Thanks again everyone, I really do appreciate it.  -Chris

Mods you can move this to the main Credit Cards if needed, but thought it was more relivant here.  I was a little surprised to see this pre-qual page for all 3 of them.

I get the same page by selecting "not sure". If I select cash back I get Quicksilver and Venture. If I select travel rewards I get Venture, VentureOne, and Quicksilver.

I have NEVER had a Siggy card, that is defined by the CL right?

Although the image they show for the Quicksilver is a Visa Signature, that doesn't necessarily mean that's what you'd get. They only issue the Sig at $5K and higher, and the minimum on the QS starts $3K. So it could be a Platinum.

ah ok...Gotcha!  I don't want another one of the QS (series)  I mean, yes there is a bit better rewards than what I have now.  What is the min level at Venture and Venture One?

Minimum line on the Venture is $5K, not sure on the VentureOne.

awesome, incoming post to the approvals....I figured its not worth getting the min on the V1 of 3k...I already basically have that with my QS1...so apped for Venture *reg with AF* and got 5K with 17.9%....incoming post...  Thank  you for your help!

OP, I got the exact same message as you and was instantly approved for QS Visa Signature with an initial CL of $10K.

The Capital One prequal site never shows me anything, but I have a QS that started as a QS1 $3k, and a Venture which started at $5k.  I like my Venture and use it as my daily card.  Congrats OP.
