Cap One CL question...

I have a CapOne that I've had since '99, back when I was foolish about CCs. It was definitely a rebuilder, it's one of the standard platinum ones (whatever the low end card is).

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew what the highest CL they'll give on that card is. Or will they tell me if I call them and ask? Because while they are one of my older cards (though not the oldest), my CL is $1600 (my lowest, other than a CareCredit I've never used and a Lane Bryant that I've closed and opened twice in the last 16 years)and there is an AF (though only $20).

Just trying to figure out what to do with them. I've tried the backdoor number with no luck. Last time I asked the guy if my card would grow with me, and he said "oh yeah", but I don't believe him.

I think they have a 3000 max CL on those particular cards. I asked the rep what the highest limit I could receive on the card and she told me. I don't think it's a secret since they advertise it on their site.

Thanks stef. I'll keep them around for a while, hopefully they will CLI me up to the limit. This will give my other TLs a chance to age.
