I have a 2500 QS which is not signature, so they do give non-signature versions if the CL is under 5000. I got it PCed from a 500 platinum.

Is you QS a mastercard or a Visa?
Its definitely a Visa, non-signature.

Saw some discussion about the AF, I've changed both my cards from platinum to qs, but one had an annual fee, and they've said they cannot remove it (both social@ AND EO groups have explained the same). The best they've said they can do is to convert the monthly $3 AF fee into an annual fee and waive it for a year. I'll have to close the card, apparently to fully remove.

+1 to Cold.
Quicksilver comes in many colors and hues.
You don't need to have a high CL to PC from Platinum to QS.
I had a Platinum MC no-fee, started with $500 CL, grew to $2000 CL. In the 1-year anniversary month, I requested for a PC through the secure chat. I was approved for Quicksilver MC, no annual-fee. The limit is the same, but with better (actual) rewards.
These cards are not advertised on their website, but you can get them when you are PC-ing from an older, not-so-great card.
I think the question is about switching from QS MasterCard to QS Visa. Since that VISA is advertised as a Visa signature item, there is a question if 5k is needed to convert. I don't have any experience with MC to VISA switch only in AF removal issues.
Yes the question from the QS MAtercard to the QS Visa.... I was able to have the annual fee removed but they wouldnt do anything for me changing it to the VISA version.... If there is a 5K minimun to switch im still 1000 away from that...
Just curious, who removed the annual fee for you? EO?
Yes the EO removed the annual fee. Chat didn't do anything for me. My wife just emailed the EO last night about hers. They did a PC from Platinum to QS in a secure chat but wouldn't remove her AF.
