I have 3 CC's with Cap One - $12,600 (AU on my Buss Partners Acct), $4.500 Quicksilver, $750 Quicksilver + $25K auto loan. All CC's are PIF monthly.
I got a CLI on my original platinum card via luv button from $1,500 to $4,500 and shortly after did a product change through a CSR to QS One in June.
I assumed I would be able to do something with my $750 QS as my last increase was back in Dec. After hitting the luv button probably 15 times through the month of July I decided to give up and call a CSR for help. The first rep through online chat just kept saying I didnt qualify and didnt even bother to look up my accounts. Just kept saying if the emails say I dont qualify, then I dont qualify. Pissed me off! Decided to call in and talk to a CSR, that was even more challenging as the voice quality was poor and I was having a very hard time understanding the CSR.
I decided to take the EO approach. I received a call 2 days after sending an email and spoke with a EO CSR about my experience with customer care and how diappointed I was with my online chat experience specifically. I mean come on, I have 3 CC's and an auto loan. At least humor me then say no! Anyway, I explained to the EO CSR that I needed the $750 card increased to $4,000 just to put it back into monthly circulation as that would support my monthly spends and $750 was the lowest limit CC card I have. Additionally, I asked for a PC on either one of my QS's to a Venture Card. I dont see any sense in having 2 QS's + NFCU Cash Rewards card. Rep took notes, asked some questions, and said he would get back with me in a few days.
I logged into my account and was happy to see a CLI to $3,500. I called the EO CSR thanked him for the CLI assistance. He also confirmed my PC to a Venture request was submitted and I should see confirmation soon. Probably a Venture One, but im good with that. Sorry to be so long winded, great experience with EO.
Good for you.. Enjoy the PC and CLI.
Congrats on your CLI and PC
