So I've had the Platinum for something like 10 years. Was all I could qualify for back then with pretty bad credit, and my only card til I made the effort to build back up in the last 2 years.
I've been keeping it since it really helps my AAoA, and has a decent CL of $7k. Just using it for a small purchase every other month.
But I just noticed....they've been billing me a $19 "membership fee" every october the last 3 years! It's marketed as a no annual fee card. Right?
Did i just miss some small print?

There are various 'flavors' of the Platinum; some of the older ones were no-fee/low-APR, while some of the later offers were for a $19 AF with a higher APR.
If the AF has already hit you can call and as for it to be waived (this is only possible once it posts; you can't ask for a waiver proactively). I would also do as @Anonymous suggested and ask for a PC as well; that would take care of the AF going forward, and would get you some rewards as well.
I just got my AF waived on my QS1. Took 2 days to post.

Thanks to all of you.
I'll call up to see about waiving the fee as it just hit last week. And then I'll do a prodcut change to something else.
