Cap1 Question.... Oh I hate them, but need them as oldest Account!

So question for anyone that know Cap1 as they are kinda a hard bunch to figure out.....   Have two Cap1 QS One's one is a Visa and one is a MC..

The visa was a Plat Visa about 8 years old? that was converted into a QS1 Visa with the anuall feee waved and the QS1 MC well is just that and have had about a year now.....so to the story.

I have no real need for two QS1's...  My visa is 3500k and my MC is 1500k.

With that being said, I felt like my QS1 Visa was "bucketed" as a subprime card as that is what is was when it was a plat visa... I got a CLI about 8 months ago  from 2500 to 3500 and since then havent been able to get a CLI..  I have NO clue where or how they get there EQ scores as they are completly wrong on the EQ 08 model..  The quoted my score when I requested a CLI of 60 points lower then my EQ 08 score or for that mattter 60-100 points lower then my other scores from my FICO with a fairly recent date....  Anyways they declined the CLI, so I decided to actually get on chat tonight vs. to EO to figure out what was going on... The first person was clueless and copy and pasted misc. stuff... Then I said f... it and asked if I was eligable for an upgrade to a venture one.  he said do this step and that step on the web site and we all know that doesn't work... I stated this never works for anyone and he said one second and transfered my on secure chat to someone else and she checked and was able to upgrade me to the venture one...  Will receive card shortly..  With that being said, will I possibly be rebucketed into a more "prime" cap1 card that they possibly take more serious then a rebuilder card?  Possibly a CLI with a decent limit over 3500?  Cap1 has done me wonders when others havent offered me credit, but I am starting to grow into prime cards Barclays and Chase card and hopefully Amex soon and want Cap1 to be there, but they have to grow with me... As stated I have a QS1 MC still with 1500k which is fine as long as the venture one card which isnt as good in "rewards' maybe will put me in another bucket with them?  Maybe I am just hoping... Any advise is appreciated and the AF is also waived on this card if there was one...

This is the only known photo of the computer Cap1 uses to decide which customers they will treat well.  As you can see it doesn't have much memory so it will only hold a few.  Good luck!!

There's really no way to know how Cap1 is going to treat anyone that I've seen.  Nothing they do seems to make any sense.  A few people they treat golden, but the vast majority end up beating their heads against the wall and there doesn't seem to be any logical method behind who they decide to treat good.  Search the forum for Cap1 and look at the threads you find.  Compare the number of "hater" threads directed at Cap1 to those directed at other lenders.  You will find more people hating on Cap1 than any other lender, even First Premier.  Thats not a coincidence, there's a reason.

You may get lucky and end up being one of the chosen few.  You never know...
