Update:
After contacting CapOne via Facebook a couple days ago I got a call back from the EO today.
I spoke with a very nice lady for about 15 mins... Explaining how I felt I have demonstrated responsible usage and explained how I am rebuilding my credit and what not.... I told her an increase would have me using the card more frequently as well. I mentioned I have no desire for new credit (car refi only inquiry in 2014) but I did want to improve my current accounts and that starts with CapOne.
It's nice to have a manual review by a real person who knows the inside scoop. I requested an increase from $1500 to $3000 and would accept a counter... She told me I should hear back from her in 3-5 business days.
TRC, Please let us know the EO's final response. If you are denied (I don't think you will) IMO it would be nice to hear from a actual person why you're denied instead of a generic letter. C1 has been good to me too, but it seems like their denial letters are generic with a "stick a bold type reason here" statement stuck in the middle of a paragraph. Sometimes I wonder if they have a list of reasons and pick one that kind of fits why they would deny a CLI.....
I called the CSR number to ask the real reason for denial and was transfered to a supervisor who promised to review my request and maybe reverse the denial. He said the response would be sent via snail mail so I tried the social@ mailbox. Have gotten immediate responses from them with questions etc so it's a wait and see.
Best of luck TRC ... hope C1 gives you a nice increase.

I asked for $1500 CLI to $3000... They gave me $500 CLI to $2000. Just saw it in online banking. Haven't received a call back yet but did get the increase.

Exactly what they did to me, all the effort and waiting for a $500 increase pfffft Capital One cards now reside in my sock drawer until they close em.
Congrats though, guess its better than the denial.

LOL yeah.... Helps with UTI. I'll use them a bit and PIF like I have been. This card is 1 year old... The other is 9 months. I plan on keeping them both open 2 years for optimal FICO scoring. After that they'll probably get closed.
By then I'll have higher limits with other lenders to compensate anyway...
Just got off the phone with a rep from the ex office. They gave me a $1k limit increase not that bad I guess
