I have a Capital One platinum card, had it since 7/10. They gave me $1750 CL with 19.98% and a $39 AF.
I just checked their website andn it says I am pre-approved for a Capital one CASH rewards. such card has about the same terms of APR, and AF, but sounds like the rewards program may be worth it.
Does anyone have feedback on this credit card?
By the way I forgot to mention I am already enrolled in a rewards program in the Card i currently have.
It appears to have 2% cash back on gas and 1% cash back on all other. Its called NO Hassle rewards and It would be great if someone cleared the differences between both card cash back programs.

I also have the No Hassle Rewards. It pays 2% on gas and grocery, 1% on everyghing else. It apparently no longer offered.
The new Cash Rewards gives you 1% on everything and then a 0.5% at the end of the year.
So if spend more on gas and grocery then NoHassle would be best. If you spend more on other categories, the Cash Rewards would be better, although you have to wait longer for part of it.
Not a big difference for most people.

have you looked at non Cap 1 products... you may qualify for an Amex charge card (Zync) at this point. Not saying that Cap 1 is bad, but many people rave about customer service with Amex.
I have Cap One Rewards also since 2007. Starting @ $500 then raise to $$1750. You may look into primeville like Discover More or Amex Zynx. I was approved for both based on a 655-665 Fico score since October. Cap One within the last couple of years have been tight on cli's
So thats what happened, its no longer available... No wonder I was so confused. thanks for clarifying that.
And yes, I ended up calling them and altough I had to talk to a couple of people, someone did say the difference was the dissapearance of the 2% for gas and the 50% annual total rewards cash back.
@webhopper and Brian, I guess you guys missed my half a dozen threads in the last couple of days .. I applied for AMEX gold and was accepted, then tried Disscover miles and Walmart and got rejected. So, happy to get the heavyweight belt at the end of the bout but kinda feel like i got knocked down a couple of times as well. Anyways, now I dont know which card will I be using for what....
Anyone care to suggest? I have the Cap1 No hassle described above, the Citi Dikamond preferred (still at 0%) that has the Citi ExtraCash Rewards (Am I the only one that thinks those are stupid?) and now AMEX Gold
