Capital One CLI - Request or wait for Automatic?

I have had my Capital One Platinum since January of 2015 with a $500 CL. In June, they gave me a CLI of 2k. Could I request a CLI now or should I just wait to see if they give me another automatic increase? Any information is appreciated! Thanks!

A CLI request is a soft pull, so a denial is a no harm deal. Go for it!

Do it! I did it with both of my Cap1 cards and got  2k on one and 1k on the other

Agreed, there is no bad outcome here.  Do let us know how much you get if you're successful!

I'm sad. I requested it and it told me to check the Online Message center in 2-3 days with their decision. That probably means no.
