Capital One Combining Accounts - Is it Back?

I saw previously on this board that apparently Capital One had "temporarily" suspended combining of accounts last year. Is that still the case, or can you once again transfer your credit limit from one of their cards to another? Any updates? I have an old rebuilder Quicksilver that I would like to close, but would love to send it's credit line over to my regular Quicksilver or Venture card, before I do. Anyone know if that's still possible? Did the link come back to the Capital One website? Also, for anyone who has done it in the past, did they allow you to transfer the entire credit line, or just a portion of it?

As of 2 weeks ago, no.  I asked while having to call in to verify my identity again because I had a suspicious charge on my account, it was my recurring Hulu subscription that has only been charged each month on the same day for years.   Smiley Frustrated

Short answer - no.

It's doubtful they'll reinstate that option for the foreseeable horizon (think losses and recent CLDs during 2020).  Prior to the link/option going away the most they would allow to combine was $50K as the cap.  Given that the max SL on approvals these days is $30K (biz and personal), it wouldn't surprise me they cap any account combinations to $30K *if* they ever decide to have the option again.  I wouldn't hold my breath, though 🤷‍♂️
