I got a call from Capital One Fraud Dept. The person said that there was a data breach, they need me to verify last transactions on my account and they will issue me a new card. I told them I would call the number on the back of my card to continue the conversation.
I called Capital One, and yep, it was legit. I'll be getting a new card within a week.
Just a headsup in case you also get a call! But I would still advise you to hang up with the caller and call back in yourself.
Very wise choice to do the return call, in my opinion!

+1 Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the update. I wonder if the breach has anything to do with a breach at certain hotels.
Well handled! The way it should be done.
Thanks for the heads up!
