You might want to send an email again next week instead of calling them directly.
 I have read on the forum that EO does not prefer people calling them directly because every request is indvidually handled by EO team member.

I got a increase from 500 to 1000 from CapOne EO.

People have had success both way by email or phone so it really doesn't matter it's just which way you feel most comfortable. I went email route and double bumped on 2 cards YMMV
