Capital One PC Success

I just PC'ed my 13 month old no rewards CO Platinum to a no AF QuickSilver 1.5% rewards.

Balance on the card is $400. CL is $2500.

Rep. told me I would be unable to do another PC on the card for 6 months.

I love Capital One! They have always been good to me with approvals and CLI's and now PC's.

Re: Capital One PC Success

I just PC'd my Plat to QS last night. I also have another QS on it's way I was approved on a couple days ago. I used chat and it took very little time. I also just asked for and rec;d a CLI on the Plat yeaterday before I tried the PC. Cap 1 seems fairly willing to give you more.

edit: Congrats BTW.

PC= Product change. You can sometimes get banks to "upgrade" or change cards or benefits. For example, the cards the OP and I had were Platinum Cap 1 cards with no rewards. The Quicksilver Cap 1 offers 1.5% cash back. You can call or use chat to ask them to "upgrade" the plain Platinum card to a Quicksilver so you can start earning rewards. The upgrade has no effect on you CR and the cards stats stay the same. All they did in this case is add the rewards feature. I did mine last night via chat and the rewards option is already shown on my account.
