Capital One Prestige Card ?

Evening Guys, quick ? has anyone of you ever applied for Prestige Card if you use the pre-approved option does that count as a hard or soft . Also do you know which CR they pull from I live in Ga Is the credit requirements real tuff. If any one has any input I would appreciate it if you would share it with me. Thanks Credit

As far as I know CapitalOne pulls all 3 CRA's before they issue a card.

I am sure they are easier to get compared to Citi / BOA and others. You might want to check out the website www.whogavemecredit.com where you can find info on various approvals.

I recently applied for and received a Capitalone creditCard. They pulled all three credit reports for me. My score range from 620-730.

Cap1 is not a picky lender in general.  Just about anybody can get SOME kind of card from them.  However, they do have various tiers of cards, and their top tier requires what they call "excellent" credit.

I agree with concorduser that anyone applying for any Cap1 product should expect them to pull all three reports.

My past horrendous experience with them aside - that is enough reason for me to never apply for a CAP1 card.

Thanks H for the reply also thanks to everyone else that answered my questions I think in light of all the input from all of you Maybe I will take a look at some other cards. I would like to have a card that is recognized by other lenders as a Prime card that carries some weight. Kinda give my credit mix a boost any card suggestions that any one willing to share with me.
