Re: Capital One Quicksilver Card Compromised

I had the same thing to happen to me back in January of this year, $ 515 per swipe, two swipes. Called up cap1 and got new card, didn't have to eat the cost. Also I have Lifelock, not too bad. With them I have all accounts, drivers license, bank accounts, insurance, ect being monitored daily. It's kind of a pain with the notifications or phone calls, it's worth it. On the individual accounts I have most of my transaction alerts set to around $1 (sorry if this seems excessive, but it's my money) and that seem to work well for me!

I just recently changed my alert to $1.00 also.  I would rather be alerted to every credit card purchase and catch it right away rather than not know it until it's considered "suspicious".

My alerts are all set to $1 as well.

I would rather get 2 or 3 alerts for one $2 soda than look at my statement a month later with 1000s in fraud.
