i saw someone on here that did the venture and QS apps together and each card got a $50k limit.
Saw that as well. Those cards are the visas, not MasterCard.

Who in here thinks they have a super high credit limit on a single master card cap one card?
Yes they do issue limits higher than 10 grand. My QS WMC has a limit right now of $11.5K. It went from $3K - $11.5K in one year. However, it hasn't budged since, going on 11 months or so now. I'm actually considering rolling it into one of my other Cap 1 cards.
Hi, don't know about high limits but I have a WMC that is at 12,300. the flow since 9/14 was 300, 3300, 8300, 12,300. platinum>QS1> QS WMC. my TU was 602 and is now close to 700. this was all with a single card. just got a 20K venture in the mail sat. great company to rebuild with imo. I ran up several 8k months last year and pif once per month.

A great company to rebuild with? I couldn't agree more.
I hear a lot of complaints about Cap1, but I have nothing but good things to say about them. Sure, their interest rates are high (but interest doesn't matter when you PIF), but they give cards to people who can't get them anywhere else (at least not unsecured or without paying a ridiculous amount per month to have a card with Payday Loan type interest), and are free and easy with CLIs.
Are they perfect? Far from it. Do they have their own interests at heart? Well, besides being a business and a bank, no more than anyone else. If you get AA from Cap1, you probably did something to deserve it. Don't take it personally, because if you have run into trouble, Cap1 will be the first there when you're back in the game.
You can do better than Cap1, but you can also certainly do worse.
QS SL 3K then 5k then 8k within 18 months. PC'd that card via chat from original QS1 to QS 4 months in.
I am going to try to get my QS1 up as high as I can.
Opened 5/2014@ $500 ---> 8/2015($1,000) ---> 12/2015 ($500) = $2,000
90 Day CLI ($1,000) and Steps CLI ($500)
It's due for a line increase now but it's maxed out. I will start paying it down this month, but thanks to Credit Addict for suggesting I focus on the smaller amounts first I have already PIF ($8) my SDFC last week ($275) and this week I am going to try to PIF and close the Capital One Platinum secured since it won't grow anymore and served it's purpose.
Depending how my scores rebound at the end of April, I will app for a regular Platinum. I will then work on increasing it's credit line for the next six months and combine it with the QS1 which I will also PC to a regular no annual fee QS.
I guess higher CLI are based not so much on score but income because. I don't believe I would get a $3,000 CLI baseed on my income even if my score were 700+
We'll see, the goal is to have at least one car with a $10,000 limit by year's end.
