Capital One Quicksilver now Visa?

I have Quicksilver and mine is MC. Did it now change to Visa?

They switch periodically. It looks like the Quicksilver is currently a Visa. It'll likely be a Mastercard again soon enough.

I was approved for the Capital One Secured Card today. Do you think they could use the same HP to consider me for the QS 1 card ?

Unfortunately, AFAIK, they do not tend to repurpose HPs for other products.  It may be another triple whammy for QS1 if you decide to pull the trigger.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely sit back and relax for the next 6 month's or so.

Re: Capital One Quicksilver now Visa?

As stated, they are issuing Visas right now for fresh accounts.

I am probably wrong but Captial One probably works out network contracts in terms of a couple years instead of exclusivity contracts. Allows them to negotiate price.
